Any kid would remember their mom’s kitchen smelling sweet and yummy. I grew up with that. My mom has this superwoman baking skills and me and my siblings were always in the kitchen ready to lick off the remaining icing on the whisks. Now that we’re grown up, most of my siblings didn’t get my mom’s superpowers. Yes, we cook & bake but we don’t really bake the sweet stuff.
Fortunately, my brother married a woman who loves to bake. And she’s currently starting a business called Little Cakes. Such an adorable name! And I am now currently helping her out with her branding one step at a time. It is still in the planning stage so we’re taking it one step at a time. For a start I designed the logo. The keywords that I got from her were: fun, adorable, yummy and luscious.
I wanted to play around with the “fun & adorable” part since it just fits with the brand name. The top 2 of my sketches:
Improved the second one. And this is what I came up with. The final logo. It was approved on the spot 
And here’s Little Cakes on some sugar cookies.
